Pallet-type ASRS enables high storage density.

A pallet-type ASRS is an automatic access system that can automatically insert or assign pallets. This system can help warehouses store goods up to a height of 40 meters without having to reserve wider aisles for narrow-aisle trucks or other trucks. This means that the tray-based automated stereo library can realize incredibly high storage densities. If the stacker crane is equipped with a satellite system, several pallets can be stored in each storage location. In other words, optimum storage utilization on the ground is guaranteed.

(2) Stacking area/order picking

In addition, roadway cranes can also transport pallets directly to workstations for direct handling by pickers. Once the picking is complete, the crane will immediately return the pallet to the high level of the warehouse.
