Description:

The GE IS220PHRAH1B is the core of the system. It includes a main processor and redundant Ethernet drivers for communication with network I/O, as well as additional Ethernet drivers for network control. The main processor and I/O use the QNX® real-time multitasking operating system. Application software is provided in a configurable control block language and stored in non-volatile memory. It conforms to the IEEE-854 32-bit floating-point format. IONet is a dedicated full-duplex point-to-point protocol that provides a deterministic, high-speed 100MB communication network for local or remote I/O with fiber optic interfaces. It provides communication between the main processor and network I/O blocks (called I/O packets). 100MB Ethernet is used for communication with local and remote I/O packets.
